Hell-o everybody!

National Metal scene is having many activities these days. Past sunday was released a mini-concert called Metal Resurection at “Plaza del Artista Nacional” in San Salvador, and now there’s an upcoming event for dec. 22 at Arena El Salvador, Bo. San Jacinto, it’s the Rock and Toys Aestival, an annual event where people obtains a disccount on their tickets if they present some toys in the concert’s day at the entrance to the Arena. The toys must be in good conditions (and preferibly it has to be a non-violent toy), because they’re for not-so-lucky children from our country, specially from the Morazán department.

A friend of mine has posted on my hi5 the announcement of the concert (yes, I have a hi5 account! Any trouble?? … … hehehe!) :

As you can see the concert is organized by Rocker’s Club, it’s programmed for this dec. 22 at 2:30 p.m. and its cost is $3.00 and a toy, and you get a collection poster (did I told you I love those collection posters? ^_^)

Gaia Metal
Conceived by Hate
Malignant Wizards
Vibora
… and some other good bands waiting to be confirmed…

So, prepare your ears for a new Metal load, and remember to aside some toys in good conditions if you have a grown-up brother or sister and you know he (she) will not use them anymore. Another good option is to buy the toys in a second-hand store… with some patience you may find really good things there. Think for a moment that they’re for a good cause, as bring a merry christmas and a smile to the poor children of our nation.

Hi everybody, I had to post this some days ago, but with all things I have to do here, I forgott completely, but better late than never, what I have to tell is I added to Spirit of Metal webzine to a good salvadorean band, they have a big trajectory in national Metal scene, and wherever they play they put everybody to rock their heads with their Heavy Metal music. The vocalist has a very “characteristic” voice and the band has a unique sound what differences them from many other Heavy Metal bands, and not necesary to mention their charisma… I’m talking about Vertigo of course! Past week I added them to Spirit of Metal, you can check my adding here:

I haven’t added the lyrics yet because I have to copy them directly from the album booklet, you’ll not find it on line and their site (www.vertigometal.com) seem to be under construction at this moment, but I did put a link to listen an mp3, the song is the 6th track of the album Heroína del Infierno (the mp3 was added from musica.com.sv a website with info about all genres of salvadorean music, thanks to them and to Vertigo for sharing this mp3). I’ll add the lyrics later, or if you have them and you want to do it you can access or suscribe to Spirit of Metal and add the lyrics.

Hi! yesterday, surfing in the web I checked how was going the situation about one of my favorites Black Metal bands ever, Gorgoroth. Not very long time ago, the band has separated, leaving Gaahl & King in one side and Infernus in the other one, then both parts started a fight to keep the name Gorgoroth… well, now I’m not exactly sure about the situation and how things has developed during this time, (specially because those Black Metal artists are so “hermethic”… ) but everything seems like Infernus won the legal fight and kept the name, after all he was the oldest member and one of the founders of the band. For now he is Gorgoroth, but at his new web site we can read he has made the respective additions to the band, and there will be info about it shortly.

By their part, we knew Gaahl and King incorporated to Hellhammer (Mayhem) to their forces, and some days later Nick Barker (ex- Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Testament) joined them too… and so, they adopted the name of “The Force Gorgoroth” wich probably makes reference to what was published in old Gorgoroth’s site when Hellhammer joined this new team:

“Gaahl and King are creating a force which will only contain members of a strong and creative energy in honor of the art that is Gorgoroth and their renewed sense of destruction and war!”

So the new situation is:

Infernus = Gorgoroth
Gaahl & King = The Force Gorgoroth

The new “Gorgoroth” site is www.gorgoroth.info … still under construction but it seems it will be nice! And this is the way it looks:

Yeah, I can be happy again , Gorgoroth is back!!And a new and talentfull band conformed by expert artists has born… And for now that’s all I know about it, see you soon!

Black Metal reigns!! \m/

Hell-o kitties! This post is to tell you about the upcoming Leprosy’s concert, here in El Salvador.

These guys came in 2003 to play in the “Rock en tus Venas” first edition… many of us did have chance to see them closely when we got to get their autographs one day before the concert to Metrocentro San Salvador. OMG! Alberto Pimentel is so-o-o cute ^_^ and his voice is terrific!! That time they shared scene with A.N.I.M.A.L., Rata Blanca and Angeles del Infierno at Cuscatlan Stadium. That was a super Metal night! \m/

This time Rocker’s Club bring us back this great Death Metal band from Mexico, and now they will be presenting at Arena El Salvador Barrio San Jacinto. As all other concerts there will be some national bands before they play, and this time they’ll be Eärendil, En Memoria and Avalon. Originally it supposed Vertigo would play too, but sadly they have another compromises… and it seems there was no chance to correct the poster, so the name Vertigo appears on it but they’ll not play this time … Even so, there will be good surprises too, one example: Eärendil will be presenting thier new DVD (Congrats you guys!)

The cost: $10.00 pre-sale and $12.00 on event’s day, wich includes a colection poster (I love those posters. My room is full of them!)
