I started writing about music almost 10 months ago as an escape from my university friends who were generally not into the music I am. I read a lot about metal in magazine and have read a number of books on the history of our extreme friend. And Aas I did so, I felt that this is what I wanted to be a part of, to be able to express my opinions in a place where I can get a good amount of discussion on it.
Unfortunately outside my close metal friends circle, my previous blog work on Blogspot was largely ignored due to an admittedly lack of promotion on my part and periods of inactivity. Now, after fulfilling my degree at university I’m ready to move onto making this a more full time hobby.
Adding myself to Spirit-of-Metal and making more of an effort to contact more like minded bloggers etc through metal forums and things, I hope that my album reviews and articles will create a healthy discussion on metal and spread awareness of new bands etc throughout anyone who’s interested.
